Anand V. Mantravadi, MD
Dr. Mantravadi is an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Jefferson Medical College and a member of the Glaucoma Service at Wills Eye Institute. Dr. Mantravadi received his medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. He subsequently completed his internship in Internal Medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago, followed by his Ophthalmology residency at the Eye Institute at the Medical College of Wisconsin where he also served as Chief resident. He then completed a Clinical Fellowship in Glaucoma at Wills Eye Hospital.
Before returning to the Glaucoma Service at Wills Eye Hospital, Dr. Mantravadi was an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology and the Director of the Glaucoma Service at Loyola University Chicago. Dr. Mantravadi has published a number of peer reviewed articles, and book chapters, and has an active interest in clinical research as well as resident and fellow education. He was the recipient of the American Glaucoma Society Mentoring of Physician Scientist Award in 2011. He has lectured nationally and internationally, and currently serves as the fellowship director for the Glaucoma Fellowship at Wills Eye Hospital. Dr. Mantravadi sees patients at Wills Eye Hospital, and also in Bucks County, PA, Rehoboth Beach, DE, and Glen Mills, PA.
